I was asked today from a customer what you can expect to learn if you attend the Title Research class.
The customer (David L) ask the following: "Why this class teach me how to research the county records online from my PC?
The short answer is YES! Plus, this event will first educate on the process and challenges facing title research, then we cover the 4 types of documents that are recorded with the county clerk. Then we go over the Title research form that I have developed and finally jump on various county website and perform live title searches in the class.
In the DFW area, all the county websites are online and Free to use from any PC with internet access. Some counties don’t have older documents online (for example, Tarrant only has images of documents back to 1985). If you are researching older documents you will need to go down to the courthouse. Generally, the searches that you will perform do not require to go back this far.
